Ocean Charter School offers its own in-house after school care, Aftercare, which offers age-appropriate activities and supervision with attention to the rhythm and routine of the after-school day. All Ocean Aftercare staff members have been screened using Live Scan (fingerprinting for a criminal background check) and are trained in CPR, first aid, conflict resolution, and positive discipline.
The Aftercare program is geared toward children attending Kindergarten through 8th Grade, with supervised outdoor and indoor play, nourishing snacks, and imaginative arts & crafts. It is available from dismissal time to pick-up times of 5 pm or 6 pm. Please refer to the Fees & Policies, included on the application link (w/ sliding sale) for more monthly plan fees, payment, and billing information.
In order to attend Aftercare students must be pre-enrolled from a choice of monthly plans with all enrollment applications and contract completed and submitted. To enroll in any of our programs, please click Aftercare 24-25 Application.
Pre-payment is required and initial invoices will be processed immediately. To maintain proper student accountability, drop-ins will not be accepted. Students not pre-enrolled in the program will be sent to the office to wait for pick-up by a parent or guardian.
Gap Care is offered to currently enrolled students siblings with different dismissal times ONLY. Pre-enrollment is required. Drop-in care is not accommodated.
