What is a Prop. 39 or co-location site?

As a result of Proposition 39, LAUSD is required to make available to charter schools un-used public school space. Each year, OCS applies for available space on LAUSD campuses. We have been fortunate to be approved for co-location space on LAUSD sites for the past 9 years. Currently, our Westchester campus is available to us through this Prop. 39 application process. We will re-apply each year for continued co-location space, as it is needed based on our current total school enrollment.
